So many books around happiness,
How to be happier, and a whole lot of them,
Saying practice gratitude,
Every meditation exercise or mental health improvement app,
Be grateful,

And surprisingly,
Such a simple exercise,
And such a difficult thing to do

And so many of you keep on saying,
“Won’t it be lovely, if we knew that was the best part of our lives” before it passed,

Here is an alternate perspective,
Livelier one,
And a proper solution for the above problem,
Can you learn to be grateful for you what you have now?
And slowly you will realise,
Things transpiring right now,
Are pretty amazing too,
( And of course, now you know while they are happening with you )

So, can we start, start realising,
This awesome present,
However miserable,
Something to be hopeful for,

The roboticist in me will always say,
Walking up the stairs is a pretty good achievement,

I know it is tricky,
